Media Matters - Press Kits Available

The Dog Cancer Ride Across America is much more than a long, painful, beautiful, bicycle ride - it's about dog cancer awareness and raising funds for dog cancer charities that help dog owners pay for treatments they could not otherwise afford.

1 out of Every 4 Dogs in America
Will Eventually Die of Cancer -

That's a Lot of Dogs...
(and a lot of Dog Owners who care
about this issue)

It's commonly estimated that 1 of every 4 dogs in America will eventually die of cancer.  It's an issue that affects MILLIONS of dogs, and Millions of DOG OWNERS.  And the sad part is, it doesn't have to be that way.  Dog's aren't meant to get cancer - you don't find many of their descendent wolves in the wild scheduling chemotherapy treatments - they get it from us, and the environment we create for them.  And much of it is avoidable, which is what makes the incidence of dog cancer so very sad...

And even worse, despite many people (and vets) who resign themselves to the belief that "nothing can be done" to help their dogs - there really are things dog owners CAN DO to help.  My dog Marty (the Wonderdog) was a great example of that (his vets gave him 3 - 6 months max to live - and that was only if we gave him extensive radiation therapy) but through research and discovering natural alternative treatments we were able to keep him around, happy and healthy (even playing frisbee, his favorite sport, 15 months later) for way longer than the vets thought possible.  And I have dozens of testimonials from clients and other visitors to my Curing Canine Cancer website (www.curing-canine-cancer.com) who have shared similar "Miracles" for their dogs using these natural treatments.

But, unfortunately, these natural treatments don't come cheap - and we get many e-mail messages (too many ) from visitors desperate to help their beloved pet - but who just can't afford to do so.  And as a dog lover - and one who fortunately could afford to pay for the treatments my dog Marty needed - it just breaks my heart...

Just Your Average Corporate Lawyer...,
Turned Massage Therapist...,
Turned Dog Cancer Internet Expert...

Riding His Bicycle 4,281 Miles Across America
to Save Dog's Lives

That's why this former Corporate Lawyer - turned Massage Therapist - turned dog cancer internet "guru" - is putting his butt on a bike and riding through the dog days of summer for the sake of the dogs.

With millions of dog owners seeking answers to this problem - a fit (somewhat sweaty) but clean and very presentable spokesman (with public speaking experience) on the bike - and a compelling story and mission - the Dog Cancer Ride Across America is an event worth investigating for your local, regional and national media coverage.

If you'd like to learn more about the ride, the rider and the charities it supports, contact us at media@dogcancerride.com for a complete media information package.
