The Map of Heroes is the main charity fundraising page for The Dog Cancer Ride Across America.
All tax-deductible donations made through the Map of Heroes will benefit dog cancer charities that provide care for dogs nationwide whose owners could not otherwise afford to pay for their cancer treatment.

The hardest thing in the world is have to sit there and watch, helplessly, as your beloved pet withers away from a disease like cancer. Knowing there are things you can do to help, but feeling helpless because you can’t afford the care he or she desperately needs.

I’ve heard from dog owners who sold their only transportation to pay to get their dog cancer surgery to save his life – only to have the cancer re-appear, and then they had nothing left to sell to help their dog the second time around.  These are the people we’re riding to help.
